Regenerative Farming Practices
Sustainable farming is good. Regenerative farming is even better – and we’d love to tell you why. Regenerative farming involves many of the same principles as sustainable farming, but it goes a step further.
This means focusing on leading indicators of ecological processes that lead to:
Improving water cyclei
- Improving mineral cycling into the soil
- Increasing biodiversity
- Enhancing energy flow
Cory Van Groningen has been studying regenerative agriculture for years and has seen the benefit of implementing these processes on the farm. Cory is an Accredited Professional in Holistic Management certified by the Savory Institute in Boulder, Colorado and will be sharing his learnings on our blog. He is also an Ecological Monitor and in the process of becoming a Hub Verifier and Field Professional, also through the Savory Institute.

Regenerative farming involves developing a food system that works holistically within our environment and creates a mutually beneficial relationship between farmers, animals and the land.
Regenerative practices lead to continuously improving the water cycle, mineral cycle, community diversity and energy flow – and, they allow us to create regenerative food.
Support VG Meats as we join this critical global movement. When we each do our part, we’re helping create a better future for generations to come.
